hankie bonnets

Mothers and grandmothers used to make bonnets out of heirloom hankies, I am not sure where the custom came from but they make nice baby shower gifts. You can buy your own hankie and send it to me to make the bonnet or I can pick one out of my stash, just tell me the color you want. I have pink, yellow, blue roses hankies and assorted hankies I bought from antique stores. These will be priced at $6 plus shipping. Most of the time, they can be sent in a regular envelope, bonnet would be wrapped in plastic. It would take 2 first class stamps to mail.

Another mall purse

This is a mall purse I made as a gift. It is made of denim, another fabric stitched on and lined.

This is a Teddy Bear I made for a gentleman out of his daughter's favorite baby blanket- it was much loved. She is now 35.

This is a mall purse. It is made of cotton fabric and lined. If you supply fabric - it is $10. If it is from fabric I have it is $15.

This purse is a Wool sweater that has been shrank, then felted with a needle. It is lined with fabric. Purses like this go for $20 - $25.

Opening my new business
